Co-Curricular Competitions Continue
LAHORE: (Wednesday, 25, 2018): The five-day All Pakistan Co-Curricular Competition the Educationist continued at Punjab University new campus here on Wednesday being organized by PU, The Educationist, Punjab Higher Education Commission and National Accountability Bureau. On the third day, different competitions including photography, cartoon, declamation and national songs were held in which students from different universities, colleges and schools of all provinces participated.
Renowned cartoonist Dr Shoukat Mehmood examined the masterpieces of students on the basis of their skills and capabilities. Mr Shahid Jabar in schools and Nabeel ur Rehman in universities categories pocketed first positions.
On the first day of declamation contest on the subject if corruption, A total of 202 candidates participated in this competition. In final round, total 31 Balochi, Sindhi, Punjabi and Pakhtoon students reflected patriotism and solidarity in national songs competition while Muhammad Azher from Balochistan won the prize.
Photography competition on the theme of “promoting education in society and removing darkness” was reflected through the photos in IER corridor. In schools category, Waqas Ahmed and in the universities category, Maheen Haque Chisti won first positions respectively.
On Thursday, poetry and second round of declamation contest will be held at IER.
